On Monday, we perform various Halloween-themed readers’ theater plays for the class. This is so fun for the students! We practice using expression, volume and hand motions to bring these short plays to life.
This week students read Chapter 5: The Explorers Find Treasure. Our target comprehension skill is: making inferences. As we preview vocabulary, students learn to divide words into syllables. This helps us to read, spell and write words more easily.
